that is true May 5 1991 life ended for my Dad. as he stood at a checkout counter. at a grocery store. last words where get a friend that worked there. he was having a major heart attack well she was not working that day. by the time Dad got help he was gone. i was going to call a friend we had not talked for some time. i didn't 3 days later i get a call he killed himself. one day im at my home up in NY hunting i get a phone call friend i worked with enjoy time out with was about to retire . getting ready to be with his grand kids. was shoveling snow and had a heart attack. my Mom told she had cancer she gone though her treatment she and her sister traveled as much as she could take she saw her first grand son graduate and then get married. but then she said I'm tired i want to see my Dad and Dec 6 she closed her eyes went to sleep she did say we will see each other again. it was her faith and belief in God. i said this time and time again "We are born to die it's what we do in between that matters".

My condolences, hon. Bad news travels in packs it seems. I just learned 3 days ago, a close friends parent passed away. Next week I'll travel north for the service and funeral. Big hugs to you. I hope you're ok. My name is MrWrong and I approved this comment

Bad news is tough. Especially long distance !! I have long distance family. Well almost all my family is. Only time they call is with bad news. Dread it showing up on caller id.
