Well people are starting to dig out their cars around here after the recent massive snow fall. The biggest problem is what to do with all that snow your shoveling your car out of? Or what to do with the stuff that is laying on top of it? There's just no place to put it with out filling in all the places that have gotten plowed, or been shoveled out by someone else who have already gotten their car dug out. As it was most of the snow clearing we did yesterday was running the snow blower over the paths we'd already cleared to get the stuff people tossed in them digging out their cars. The city plows still haven't done our side streets yet. So, once out of the snow the cars still can't get any place as the side streets are still unpassable. Where the streets have been plowed...yeah people who've managed to get their cars moved are double parking on those streets, or in some cases parking beside the exact spot they dug their car out of. Thus blocking the road, and leaving a huge gapping hole surrounded by snow where their car once was parked. I mean it's not like the plow can come by and plow that snow away with their cars sitting right next to it double parked as it were. As most of our main streets around here have odd- even parking allowing parking on one side one day, and no parking on the other then switching off every day or so, one side or the other can get plowed. With the side streets, parking is allowed on one side only, so the plows can't switch off and do one side one day and the other the next. Even if they could , like I said there is just no place to put the stuff, no room anywhere.

As I suspected the laundry room was a total disaster yesterday, not having the chance to get in there on Monday to clean being too busy shoveling snow the entire day. I went in yesterday morning to find the outside door standing wide open ( packed snow was preventing the door from closing ) So instead of pushing the door closed ( easy enough to do ) when who ever was in their last doing their laundry the idiot just left it open. I have no idea how long it was like that, lucky the snow had tapered off by then and none had gotten inside the gym area, but still I could hear my Dad's voice in my ear saying "Close that damn door, I'm not paying to heat the outside world." Good thing the water pipes didn't freeze up and burst, that's all we would have needed. As it was someone left piles of dirty laundry sitting on top of the machines, okay dingle bots, your Mommy doesn't work here and I'm not going to police your dirty clothes you don't have the time or the cash to wash and dry yourself. If you don't have the time or the money to clean your own laundry leave the stuff in your apartment. It's not like I or the other tenants want to walk in and see your skid marked undies along with the rest of your dirty things laying on top of the machines. I bagged the crap up and left it sit in the corner.. all I could do really. I wish I could have thrown it away. It would have served them right leaving the stuff like that as they did. But I'm not allowed too. If I was I wouldn't have any place to throw I away anyhow. Our dumpsters (all over flowing ) still haven't been dumped from this past weekend. The driver can't get into the lot to make the dump with all the snow in the way, nor get down the side streets even to get to the parking lot where they are sitting. Of course that hasn't stopped people from taking their trash to the dumpsters and tossing it on the huge snow pile that needs plowed away from the front of them.. making a bad situation worse.

Did I mention I dislike snow? No... well I do. If it snow once a year on Christmas Eve and Christmas day I'd be happy. Other than that I could do without it.

Any who time for me to hop into my shower. Is it the weekend yet?
