Race doesn't really exist for you because it has never been a barrier.

Having lived in the Caribbean for a good part of my life I see color of the skin as you would see a brunettes blond or red head. We have different shades hair , eye colors and thousands of other features that makes us who we are, unique and beautiful. Its why we have no trouble in your so called “mixing”. We are all mixed! Producing beautiful offspring. Like my cousins, and uncles /aunts. I don’t believe in knocking down history that defines who we are, and reminds us not repeat the dark history again. Thus the saying,“ history repeats it self”. Humans are a simple algorithm based on the need to survive, livelihood, politically, spiritually. Our appetites to feed all this is greater than our sense for goodness. That’s why we keep coming back to the same point over again, and this repeating history. I certainly do not glorify any confederate statute nor flag, what ever. That’s all dead, more than 0 years ago. Along with the greatest list of American lives more than the US wars fought. If you look at the results of the burn of the great Library of Alexandria by the Cristian crusades, thousands of years of history, were wiped out leaving us to start over again , putting us in the dark ages for centuries. Americans need to look and move forward, and only reflect on the past as a lesson well learned and not to be repeated. Through out Latin America, we see it like this and don’t have this “racial” issue. Talk to any Hispanics of any shade and they will tell you they are from county X, and skin color, shade is what it is. We are Americans, the so huge melting pot. The cultural perspectives has change justify the lost of lives 0 years ago provide freedom .
