Virtual Symposium #51 What did the Grinch steal from you this year 2020?  Virtual Symposium #51 What did the Grinch steal from you this year 2020? From my wife and I the Grinch did steal, Gone is the my wife's sexy girlfriends staying overnight, I want to appeal, In March 13th we were both furloughed from our jobs with a lot of zeal, I wonder if governor Nuisance of made this pandemic more real,  The grinch, governor Nuisance of California sent us home without a cent, Unending screeches and squeals for masks and hand sanitizer without our consent, My wife and I took revenge in stayed in bed and with lots sex we vent, That is how most of our 2020 year was spent!  Now, as the end of the year is upon us many people lost their meals, Thanksgiving was cancelled and there were no meals on wheels, No more roast beast, no work for most to the Grinch, no appeals, Bloggvile is depressed and laid bare without heels, By December 25, 2020, by Christmas morning, we all need to heal, And I hope the Grinch by Christmas morning brings back everything he steals! No Christmas To Celebrate This is my contribution to the Christmas Symposium. I have been dealing with a lot of things Over the past month, and it all started on November 20th, 2020. In my blogs I had mentioned That we had been dealing with some plumbing issues here. Well what happened was I had got up took my shower and the bath tub was not draining right So at 7:45 am I called the new property manager ( who is in their first month for this place). I heard nothing back by 9 am so I called back and was told that the Manager was on vacation that day. I told the young lady that we have an issue here as all the apartments plumbing was backing up into our Apartment. She told me she would get on it but it might take a couple of hours. ( You have to understand that my hubby ) has to eat, we couldn't use our water or any facilities here and has to take eight different medications in the morning. So he ate a piece of toast that wasn't sufficient enough for the meds, and he was getting really stressed out and yelling. I am trying to keep him calm, heard nothing at 11 am so called back and said they were trying to get a hold of a plumber, she said it could be a couple more hours. Now I am getting really irritated and pissed off because this is just not a good situation, the disgusting water is trying to get into our bedroom at this point and I am taking every towel that I could get my Hands on to keep the water from entering our bedroom. This is becoming a real health emergency here. My hubby went to all the other tenants here and asked them to stop using their water and showers and commodes, and they stopped using them. Well I ring out all of my soiled towels and go to the laundrymatt to wash them all. I get back home still no plumber, and it's 1:30 pm now. And I call back and she says " What no one has come yet?" I am like NO!! She tells me she will call another plumber to come out. So we wait and about 2:30 the plumbing company where my hubby used to work shows up. They have to wait for another half an hour for another plumber to carry the snake upstairs to use it to clear out the lines. They wanted my hubby to help them I said NO because he can't be lifting heavy things because of his STINT. So during this time I call Code Enforcement to see what I can do about this. I wasn't calling to Make a complaint I just wanted some information on what we could do about this situation. But I didn't get to finish my message and I had to hang up on the message I was leaving with them, because the plumber was calling me. So then I call code enforcement back and the lady I spoke with Tells me she had already contacted the new owner, and I am like OH NO we are going to get retaliated against for this. She's like no I didn't tell them who called me. As the apartment next door was having The same issues we were. She then proceeded to tell me that the owner told her that he had someone Out here at 10am that morning and I told her that was a lie. So my hubby and I finally after 4 pm was finally able to leave and get something to eat, as we were so both exhausted from this experience. So now it's Saturday and the Project Manager calls me and wants to come and see if everything is okay. He gets here, I show him the bathroom floor because the water has gotten under the bathroom tiles and you can see the water stains. I am worried about black mold forming because I am deathly allergic To black mold as the last time I came into contact with it I was ill for months. I can smell the mold Now here as like I am so sensitive to it. The project manager tells us he will have the maintenance man come out in a couple of days to check Everything out. He then continues to asks me a couple of times if I called Code Enforcement and I said no and acted like I didn't know what he was talking about because the lady I spoke with said she hadn't given them my name. The maintenance man comes a couple of days later, and he checks things out and Makes a list of everything that needs to be fixed and says he will be here after Thanksgiving. So now its Wednesday November 25th, the day before Thanksgiving. We are sitting in the living room ' about 5 pm I see the Property Manager walk by really fast, so I am thinking what is she doing here so Late. I wait a couple of minutes as the apartment next door is empty and when I open our door I see something hanging from our door knob. It's a Termination Of Lease Legal Paper, saying we have sixty days to move out because the owner Is going to tear down the building or renovate the property. I am sorry this is just retaliation from me calling code enforcement and I did call code enforcement Back and talked to the lady who I had spoken to before and told her what has happened now Because of my call to her, and she said its definitely retaliation and I should contact an attorney as We have a good case against them, because they have absolutely no proof that I was the one who called code enforcement. So now hubby and I have to move, there is nothing affordable here. We did go to the VA to see if we can get some help to move to another place. This was really the worst news we could get right Now with it being Christmas. And I have to say Covid is making it so very hard for us to find another place as offices aren't open, people are working from home. We are under another Shelter in Place Order here. I haven't slept much in days, I am bearing most of the stress from this as I am trying to keep hubby Stress free here, but its so difficult at times. I know we were planning on moving but this is not The way we planned on moving.. We could really use some Christmas Prayers right now Or a Christmas Miracle. Your property manager or owner is the Grinch indeed! I hope you win the case and get things to normal for Christmas!

That was well written of how COVID has stolen things out of all our lives my friend.. Hopefully we will get some things back in 2021..xoxo

The Grinch in 2020 tried and almost succeeded to stealing my Viagra pills, shit! If Pfizer's Viagra pill can raise the dead then I can trust them with the Covid vaccine to save my life!

This year has taken a lot from a lot of people. I am trying to stay positive and I don't want to even share what has been taken from us this time of year but I can say its not good.

He took my whole Summer away, which means I was not able to go swimming, have family and friends over for the 4th, no Prim Rib cause the price of meant went up during this crap. Thanksgiving was not the same nor will Christmas. I came in contact with my neighbor who has it and I did not but had to stay in for 14 days. We are trying hard not to go completely crazy! Love the card babe and have the best Christmas we can have this 2020!

He took my whole Summer away, which means I was not able to go swimming, have family and friends over for the 4th, no Prim Rib cause the price of meant went up during this crap. Thanksgiving was not the same nor will Christmas. I came in contact with my neighbor who has it and I did not but had to stay in for 14 days. The Light is shinning and she is lonely and waiting in the darkness.

Not much has changed here. March was the scary month because there was so much uncertainty back then. Still see my friends and shop as normal, albeit with a mask. Business maybe dipped in March/April, but surged through summer. And to top things off I feel I now have my life partner. Can't ask for more. The Grinch did not steal my 2020, nor will I allow him to mess with my 2021. Happy Holiday Seasons!

Not much has changed here. March was the scary month because there was so much uncertainty back then. Still see my friends and shop as normal, albeit with a mask. Business maybe dipped in March/April, but surged through summer. And to top things off I feel I now have my life partner. Can't ask for more. The Grinch did not steal my 2020, nor will I allow him to mess with my 2021.
