Work yesterday. Aside from some idiot leaving their car trash in the gym wastebasket. [ Car trash: That stuff that builds up in your car from going through BK, McDonald's etc. ] Most if not all of the dryer lint screens were clean, not much trash on the floors and the restroom although used, was in good condition. On the down side...one of the washers someone had put a note on saying it wasn't working, and another washer's drum gasket had somehow come off. I tried replacing the gasket, but who ever screwed the thing up really did a number on it. How they managed to get the gasket to come off is anyone's guess? I assume they tried overloading the washer when they ran it? The pressure of the wash or rinse cycle blowing the gasket off. Hopefully no one used it yesterday as the gasket is what holds the water in as it's a front loading washer. But, knowing the silly sods we have living here, I'm sure someone has used it. No matter there are drains in the laundry room floor for just such instances. Any who, that makes four washers that are down now, four out of the ten that are in there. I'd have put a note on the washers, but that does nothing, even when I do the idiots still try and use the broken machines. Going so far as to plug them back in after I've unplugged them. As for getting the Co. that we rent the machines from to come out and fix them, yeah...no. They have been called many times...two of our washers have been down since before March of this year. But getting a service tech to drive over from Ohio is like asking Santa to drop by your house for a spot of tea. He'll tell you sure he'll be around about four and never shows.

The office was clean as well. I think the PM only came it to pick up the mail and her butt never hit the office chair on Friday. Yeah there was trash from Wednesday, but it looked like she didn't spend too much time here on Wednesday either, leaving I assume before eleven am.

I didn't do any decorating as I wanted too yesterday. I just didn't feel in the mood for it. At home growing up my parents wouldn't decorate till the very last moment. Often times we didn't even set up the tree till Christmas Eve. Then only putting the ornaments on after we got home from church ( Midnight candle lit service starting at eleven and ending at midnight ) The whole church ending the service by singing Silent Night while holding candles. Quite a site in a darkened church really. Very pretty. Also very dangerous. They stopped doing that in the late seventies. Oh, the service still ended with the hymn, but the candles were off the program. That sort of took the magic out of it for me. Maybe I'll get around to putting up the tree today? Who knows? No need to rush, as I've got some time yet.

I don't know if my sons will make it home for Christmas this year or not from Montana with the way this Corona virus is going. I haven't heard from them one way or the other yet. My middle son did send me the paperwork for his car so we could do the transfer between him and his sister, it arrived yesterday. He left it behind when he moved out there a couple of months ago. His sisters car is way beyond passing Pa. inspection and would be too costly to repair. So, she'll be buying his car from him and selling her clunker. It all works out in the end I suppose, but somehow I think I'm going to lose money on this deal. The son owes me from the money I lent him for his move, and has signed the car over to me as repayment. The daughter is buying it from me so I'll get my money back..it all sounds good but I know my daughter and she has a tendency to be slow about paying me for things..hell, she still owes me for helping her move back from Texas. Kids? ! ? Is it any wonder my hair is turning gray?

Any who, time for me to jump in the shower...
