The Bonus Army

On June 17 1932, 17,000 WWI veterans demonstrated in Washington DC because the government refused to pay<b> service </font></b>bonuses that were due to the veterans. 2 were killed and thousands wounded as the US Army with Troops, Cavalry and Tanks descended on the Veterans to disperse them.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all our Veterans and their families and the heroes that serve to defend this country. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE !! And I would also like to say thanks to the wonderful people that work in local VA offices around the country. I honor your<b> service </font></b>and commitment as well.
