Help The Newbie, Please ! So for years I was on and off this site with a “Standard” membership acting more or less as a voyeur….Because I was living in So. California (where I grew up), I never really felt the need to use the feature or attempt to contact anyone in particular……So Cal has a huge population, lots of alternative lifestyles, etc. However, for a multitude of reasons I have recently moved to Northern, Virginia….First Burke and then Falls Church, and after noticing how completely Covid had/has locked many sections of society down, I realized that I might want to take a second MenNation.com and go for the “gold”, which I did…… Since then, I have come to realize a of interesting things about MenNation.com. First of all, I realize that I may I need to take a few 4-unit junior college courses to figure out how the site works. For example: recently I wrote a few short messages to a few Gold Members and got absolutely “NO RESPONSE”. Upon doing a little bit of detective work, I realized that there is a file in “messages” , called “Pending Conversations”…..Say What? Can someone please tell me what a “pending conversation” is? How does a message get there and how does it get out of there? I recently ’d someone whom I had sent one of these messages and asked if they had received my it? They said “no” ! ! So, I told them to check their “Pending Conversations” file in messages……Again…..Say what?  |
