MAKE SOMEONE HAPPY

While earning your daily bread, be sure that you share with those less fortunate.

Beginning today, treat everyone you meet as if they were going to be dead by midnight. Extend to them all the care, kindness and understanding you can muster, and do it with no thought of any reward. Your life will never be the same.

Growing older can be a wonderful adventure if you remember that the important word is growing.

The surest way to make yourself happy is to make someone else happy.

People take different roads seeking fulfillment and happiness. Just because they're not on your road doesn't mean they've gotten lost.

You wouldn't be worried about what people think of you if you knew how seldom they actually do.

No matter how hard you hug your money, it never hugs you back.

No one is guaranteed happiness. Life just gives each person time and space. It's up to us to fill it with joy.

Only God is in a position to look down on anyone.

Those who spend most of their time making and hoarding money often find the things they want most cannot be bought.

Today give a stranger one of your smiles. It might be the only sunshine he sees all day.

To be bitter is to waste precious moments of a life that's too short already.

Great opportunities await those who give more than what is asked. I encourage you to put the uncommon touch on even the most common task. We may never have the opportunity to do great things in a great way, but we all have the chance to do small things in a great way.

To change everything, simply change your attitude.

Inflation hasn't ruined everything. A dime can still be used as a screwdriver.

Everyone that you meet knows something you don't know, but need to know. Learn from them.

I don't know where you get all these things but interestingly to me, it sounds just like you.

Now I am suspicious you are authoring them all. You are THAT good.

Always a pleasure to me. {=}

You give me too much credit. Some I've read somewhere, some I've heard and others I've written and try to live by. (But I am THAT good!)

You don't know pleasure yet....

There is a lot of truth in this one. "You wouldn't be worried about what people think of you if you knew how seldom they actually do."

But there is the exception to every rule.

Sign in a pet shop window over a display of puppies, "Who says money can't buy happiness?"

The perversity of the universe is unbounded.

I finally got myself a dog a couple of months ago, and, yes! money can buy happiness.....

Excellent again, Bonnie. I think these are a pretty good way to get over oneself. If we live life like everyone is our friend and treat them like it, life would go a whole lot better.

I've never met a stranger and try to treat everyone that I meet with the same respect and care I would a friend. Sometimes my heart gets bruised, but the rewards make it all worthwhile....
