It’s just a matter of opinion I’ve found myself talking politics with a couple of people recently, (not sure if that’s a wise thing do, kinda got a bit ranty ....apparently!!) but I’m not sure any other industry would get away with the blatant lying or mismanagement that the government gets away with (unless you know differently of course) and it’s such a dangerous emotive subject. I consider myself a political atheist. I no longer believe a single word anybody says. Incoming parties inherit crap from the previous and then have no intention or ability carry out what they say will in their manifestos. Power corrupts!. Now I live a fairly simple life, live and let live, be nice, eat chocolate and crisps drink wine and try and get sleep (yeah ok it’s 04:15 and I’ve been awake since 01:19 so I’m a bit shit in that one, but really good on the eating crisps one!!) I get up I take the out I have cofffee (very strong fresh, not that instant yakky stuff) I go work, come home, splodge in a omg I’m knackered kind of way, eat, talk friends watch crap on tv then go bed... and repeat. So why on earth do I waste time on talking about something I no longer believe in that only causes tension?? So in the spirit of a half New resolution I am cutting out the negativity in my life. This will include binning all the knickers I don’t wear, the food I bought cos it’s healthy and I don’t like, bras that I bought cos they looked pretty but are never gonna fit on my chesticles and giving attention stuff that doesn’t need it!!! Not sure if this will make my life any better but it will give more storage space... and don’t get started on politics x just joanna |

life is too short so you're doing the right thing is eliminating politics discussion. I did that a long time ago and found it better for my health

Hard to ignore how brutally corrupt & incompetent the Tories are at the moment unless you just want to live in a bubble & ignore reality. Yes politics is a dirty business yet it has such a huge effect on all our lives that at the very least you should pay attention & have a say about it at some point.
