Not so sexy but part of this story.
Not so sexy but part of this story. UPDATE ON MY CAR....they didn't total it out and because there is not structural damage or engine damage they are fixing it. Pricey for the other guys insurance because it is a Merceces. The Mercedes dealership in the desert doesn't do body work. They are sending it to a body shop that they recommend all there accidents too. The other guys insurance is also throwing in 7K for dimimished value. Wayne has already traded in his little Mercedes convertible for a beautiful 2011 Mercedes, four door Sedan. It has low mileage and just perfect. Now we have a car that will carry our luggage and golf clubs. LOL I should have my car back in about 10 days. A new segment now. Steves golf cart buiness really thrived. I finally got on Social Security and to a doctor. I had written a long letter that I gave to the receptioness for give to the doctor before I was scheduled. I explained everything about my injury and treatment for pain. The day of the appointment we were sent into a room, where a physiciain's assitant met us there. He asked all kinds of questions. Finally, Steve reminded him I had answered all of these in my letter. About that time the Orthopetitic Surgeon appeared. He said he had already scheduled my surgery and I could get that information from the receptioness. Steve said something like " is that all?", but the doctor was out the door. We discussed it but I had really researched this guy and so we decided to give it a try. I had my hope up so high. I had been in pain for two years and I just wanted to get better. Steve and I had sex often but alot of the time we just had oral, or we did it doggy style. Steve was a big my with enormous thighs and the weight of him scared me and it scared him that he might cause me more injury. I am a highly sexual woman. Sex always made me feel better, whether I was healthy or sick. Men always say they would like to die during sex and I am the same way. Some times I think I am cursed. LOL So I couldn't wait for that surgery. I hadn't driven for two years. Couldn't hardly walk without his help to do the grocery shopping. I was still on morphine and didn't like that. I had gain back most of weight I had lost. So I had that surgery on June 10, 2007. Came out of the anesthesia expecting I would be great again. The doctor came in and said everything went well but he couldn't get the pressue off my sciatica. He said I had waited too long but that some of the pain might not be a bad and he left the room. I was heart broken. I had been so hopeful and now this. Later I leanrd he had only shaved off some of the protruding discs. After a couple of weeks, I did feel some relief from my back pain and into my hip. It wasn't as severe in that area. About a week later though I developed very bad urinary incontince. If I was running water at the sink, I couldn't make it ten feet to the bathroom. I had never had that. I made an appointment with a urologist ( one the finest physician I had every encounter ). He ran all kinds of tests on me and my bladder was in place. He told me that when I had the surgery the physician probably tried to move the sciatica and that was sending a message to my bladder. He gave me medication that stopped that and he said I should see and Orthopetic friend of his. So now I was looking at another back surgery. I did like this doctor and he even took my hand and said " I am going to my best to help you ". OK, I have a hair appointment but I will write more tomorrow.........promise. |

Hi Judy, am glad they didn't total your "baby" out and are going to get it back to the way it was and that Wayne got a 2011 low mileage Mercedes for the bags and your golf clubs. Am glad that you are back to writing the blog again and I am always wondering what other things you have gone thru in your life. That is to bad that the first DR only did some shaving of the protruding disc and after all you had to do on checking him out and writing down everything before you met him and to me he sounded like arrogant piece of shit by he way he talked to you. I do hope the new DR had better bedside manner for you. Pictures are nice as always and am waiting for the next chapter in the blog. xx Jerry
