Wasting time

People kill time. Wasting time trying to change another's viewpoint. Arguing is not an effective way to convince someone who has already decided otherwise. Facts do no good. Logic is unavailing. Why persist? Because that is what people do, until they give up.

In California there is no reason to engage in conversation with a true believer in Trump. The small number of votes for Trump's agenda will not outweigh the huge number against. So don't waste the time and energy. If they wake up and figure it out, then great. But life is too short to waste time and energy on fools and knaves. I give up.
